PROJECT UPDATE: LUBBERS STADIUM RENOVATIONS AT GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY

Demolition of the existing south bleachers in Lubbers Stadium (approximately 2,500 seats) has made way for new bleachers (approximately 3,000 seats). Directly south of the new bleachers, a 3,000 SF masonry building is being constructed for concessions and restrooms. The bleachers and building are in the final stages of construction and will be turned over to the university mid-August.

This project is the first phase of renovations to Lubbers Stadium. The master plan includes additional seating, new press boxes, more concessions, and lowering the playing field.
