PROJECT UPDATE: GRAND RAPIDS WATER TREATMENT PLANT TUNNEL REHABILITATION

June 1, marks the substantial completion date for the tunnel rehabilitation at the Grand Rapids Water Treatment Plant. Erhardt is pleased to report the project is right on track.

The City of Grand Rapids has approved two significant change orders to the project: re-aeration piping and effluent pipeline replacement. The change orders add several additional months of work for our crew.

PROJECT UPDATE: DRUEKE BUILDING

Renovation of the Drueke Building is nearing completion, and final inspections will begin to take place the first week of June. Erhardt began renovation of the existing building, located along Grand Rapids' West Side, in September 2009.

The project encompassed construction of two new stair towers, a new exterior skin and site work development. The interior of the structure remains in white-box condition awaiting development and future tenants.

PROJECT UPDATE: CALVARY CHURCH ROOF RESTORATION


The Calvary Church metal roof restoration project includes the removal and reconstruction of approximately 8,000 square feet of standing-seam metal roof and underlying plywood substrate that were damaged during high winds.

An Erhardt crew, along with Buist Sheet Metal began removing the damaged materials in mid-May. A new cedar breather venting system and new plywood decking will be placed, and new standing-seam metal roof panels are scheduled to be installed in the upcoming weeks. The project is on schedule.
