NEW ELCA MINISTRY CENTER BREAKS GROUND

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America broke ground in April for their new Center for Missions and Ministry in DeWitt, Michigan. The Center includes space for conferencing, training, and fellowship, as well as Synod offices for the ELCA. The project is designed and constructed to be LEED certified, offering a healthy environment filled with natural light and views to the landscape. Careful attention to issues such as water conservation and energy efficiency reinforce the church’s desire to be good stewards of our earth.

Ken Pitchford is the Project Manager and Gary Hamstra is the Project Superintendent.
